Glennis Grace is a Dutch singer who was born on June 19, 1978, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Her real name is Glenda Hulita Elisabeth Batta. She started singing at a young age and was discovered when she was just 16 years old by a Dutch producer.

In 1994, Glennis released her debut single "I'm Gonna Be Strong", which reached the top 40 charts in the Netherlands. She continued to release singles and albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s, and became known for her powerful voice and soulful interpretations of pop and R&B songs.

In 2005, Glennis gained international attention when she competed in the Dutch version of the television show "America's Got Talent," called "Holland's Got Talent." She wowed the judges and the audience with her performances, and eventually finished in the finals of the show.
